Frame It Up

"Mother Love"

Courtesy Lindsey Briggs Photography

We love a beautiful print, especially when it’s available as a free download.  So, to kick off our Motherhood Matters campaign, we commissioned the simply amazing Melanie Burk of Fifth and Hazel, to design just the piece.  The result is crisp, colorful and clean … a thoughtful statement piece that reminds why motherhood matters.

We’ve done segments on finding affordable artwork, but this may take the cake.  Simply print on heavy white cardstock and frame.  We hope you like the orange and turquoise combination just as much as we do.  We’ve  created four prints, two versions of two different quotes.

Quote #1:  “Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs in my field since the payment is pure love” (Mildred. B. Vermont)

Quote #2:  “I remember my mother’s prayers and they have always followed me, they have clung to me all my life.” (Abraham Lincoln)

Hope you enjoy!  And don’t forget to download the Motherhood Matters 10-Day Challenge.

Mom’s definately don’t get enough credit. You are ultimately responsible for the well being, and happiness of another life for 18 years and sometimes more. Being a mom is such a powerful thing. You never know the power that you have until you can become a mother.

  10. Heather Slade says:

I wasn’t going to do this challenge because legally and biologically I don’t have any children, then I read the challenge. It spoke of how there are many kinds of mothers, including ones who have no children of there own. I am that kind of a mother–though I don’t have children of my own, I love children and I try to nurture those around me. So ten-day challenge, here I come!
